Manitoba Draw Invites 360 Skilled Workers and International Graduates

International graduates and skilled overseas workers were in focus in the Expression of Interest draw in Manitoba held on August 15th. Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has issued a 360 Letters seeking the provincial nomination for permanent residence Canadian three pathways. These are the:  

32 LAAs were issued to candidates who had an Express Entry profile.

The MPNP permits Manitoba in nominating select eligible overseas nationals for permanent residence that possess the required skills sought by provincial employers.

In 2018 MPNP had issued 5207 nominations, and 98 percent were for the candidates in these twin skilled worker categories.

241 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba  got the LAAs which offers a PR pathway for capable temporary overseas workers as well as international graduates who work in Manitoba besides getting an offer of permanent position from the eligible employers.

Candidates belonging to Skilled Workers in Manitoba have to register the online profile in Expression of Interest and also provide details of work experience, education, and English/French proficiency. The eligible profiles of candidates get the score from a total of 1,000. Additionally, they get a place in the EOI pool.

Furthermore, the lowest-ranked aspirant getting invitation of Skilled Workers Manitoba Stream secured the score of 542.

83 candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas got the LAAs. These candidates were invited in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative that includes recruitment missions overseas arranged by the Program with the involvement of Manitoba employers. The candidates of the Skilled Worker Overseas stream have to complete the Expression of Interest besides meeting its minimum requirements. 

The lowest-scoring Skilled Worker Overseas candidate had the 685 EOI score. Such Candidates, invited in the EE system, required having the valid Express Entry ID, as well as the Job Seeker Validation Code, and a verifiable experience, in a top demand occupation in Manitoba Occupations List

This is meant for Manitoba graduates who have a top form to meet the provincial labor needs. 

The three subcategories of the stream are: 

• Career Employment Pathway, 

• Student Entrepreneur Pathway

• Graduate Internship Pathway, 

The Program has issued 36 LAAs in favor of candidates belonging to International Education Stream. Manitoba has held 16 EOI draws and it has issued 5,810 invitations during the present year.  Please contact us for any additional details in this regard.
