On November 7th Manitoba held a draw, and invited 180 skilled workers, international graduates, plus the candidates in Express Entry, to apply and seek provincial nomination, for permanent residence, in Canada.

The Provincial Nominee Program of Manitoba invites candidates periodically from its pathways of 

Skilled Worker Overseas 

Skilled Worker in Manitoba

International Education for seeking the provincial nomination towards permanent residence in Canada.

Also, the Invitations to the first two categories are based on the score of Expression of Interest.

Individuals,’ first have to create the EOI profile, to get consideration for immigration in Manitoba, under these categories.  These subsequently enter into a pool meant for the eligible candidates. Then they get a rank based on the score to the maximum of 1,000 reflecting the work experience, education, connection to the province and language of a candidate.

Moreover, the specific number of top scoring candidates, get the Letter of Advice to Apply from the Program and can submit the application seeking provincial nomination for the Canadian PR.

• Skilled Worker Overseas: 24

• Skilled Worker in Manitoba: 133

• International Education Stream: 23

Successful candidates in Express Entry who get invited in the round and also receive the provincial nomination add 600 extra points in Comprehensive Ranking System and also get a guarantee in invitation to apply seeking the permanent residence in a later federal draw.
