In the latest Ontario Entrepreneur Stream held on April 5, 22 candidates with a score of 112 points received the invitation. This reflects the drop of the minimum score by three points in Ontario immigration.

Ontario operates two business categories which are the Ontario Entrepreneur stream and the Ontario Corporate Stream. Additionally, the province has conducted ten draws during the previous year under OES and issued ITAs to 149 candidates. It has also issued 35 invitations by holding two draws in 2019.

In the previous draw, held on January 17 the OINP also issued 13 ITAs at the minimum score of 115.

Steps for the Ontario Entrepreneur Stream in Stage 1 are:

• Making Sure regarding Satisfying all Requirements and Criteria

• Completing and Submitting an Expression of Interest (Online)

• Receiving the Invitation to Apply

• Submitting the Application - Online

• Assessment of Application and finally

• Signing the Performance Agreement

Stage 2

• Before Arrival: obtaining the Temporary Work Permit

• After Arrival: 20 Month period for Establishing Business

• PR Nomination and finally

• Application for PR, and 3 Years of Monitoring

Ontario holds the draws for Express Entry streams, streams of French Speaking Skilled Workers, Human Capital Priorities, and finally for the Skilled Trades.

The Program has also not revealed the nomination allocation of the federal government for the current year. The allocation for 2018 for the province was 6,850.
