Minimum Scores decline in the BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw

British Columbia immigration conducted the BC PNP Tech Pilot draw on April 16, in which there was a decline in Minimum Scores. The minimum scores declined to 90 for these four streams:

• Express Entry for Skilled Workers

• Express Entry for International Graduates,

• Direct provincial streams for Skilled Workers

• Direct provincial streams International Graduates

The Scores in the previous Pilot draw were 100. 71 candidates received the Invitations in this draw. In the January 23 draw, there were 45 invitations.

The previous BC draw was general catering to five provincial streams. The minimum scores in the April 10 draw were in the range of 75 up to 105 points. Workers at the Entry level and also of the semi-skilled category needed a score of 75 points, and of the direct skilled workers needed 95 points. Candidates of the other three streams had to score 105 points.

The BC PNP Tech Pilot was extended to 2019. It also has a list of 29 target occupations seeking relaxed requirements in duration.

Furthermore, B.C. PNP attracts technology workers and many big names are associated with the province.

• The job offer must be for one year and finally

• It must have a validity of  120 days at the applying time

Seeking the provincial nomination, guarantees the selection in the Canada Express Entry System, by adding 600 CRS points.

The Program always publishes the necessary score that the immigrants need to get the Canada immigration invitation.

The score requirement for all international graduates is 30 points lesser to the skilled worker in Express Entry and also in the provincial streams.

The entry-level/semi-skilled workers also qualify at a lower score.
