Ontario holds the Largest Draw of 2019 for French Speaking Workers

On February 7, authorities of the immigration department in Ontario held the largest draw of 2019 for French Speaking Skilled Workers. Additionally, in this draw, 61 Express Entry candidates received the NOI. The qualifying norms were that the candidates had to submit the EE profiles between Feb 7, 2018, and Feb 7, 2019. By this date, the province has issued Notifications to 189 FSSW candidates, in the present year.

There is no requirement to score any minimum points in this stream. In order to qualify, Candidates have to attain a minimum CLB 6 in English and 7 in French. Moreover, the province did not publish its allocation for federal government nomination for the present year. Its allocation last year was 6,850 nominations.

Requirements for the Ontario EE: FSSW Stream

To qualify applicants needed:

• An application Pending in the EE system;

• Work Experience of One year of full time, or equivalent in NOC occupation level 0/ A/B;

• A Bachelors or a Masters degree or Ph.D. equivalent to its counterpart in Canada ;

• CLB level 7 in TEF examination; and CLB 6 in IELTS examination

• Candidates also have to reside in the Province

The OINP commenced publishing details about specific draws since January 2018. So far it held five draws in 2019 and in the last year, it held 44 French Speaking Skilled Worker draws. The streams were Skilled Trades, Human Capital Priorities, and also the Entrepreneur streams
