The immigration authorities in Prince Edward Island are planning to hold a new EOI draw on March 21, 2019. It will feature an invitation by using the three PEI PNP streams. These are the Labor Impact, the Express Entry and finally the Business Impact streams. The authorities held a previous draw on Feb 21, and also invited 199 candidates. Moreover, it will hold periodic draws for the PNP throughout 2019.
The Draw Dates
The Anticipated Draw Dates in 2019 are March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, and finally on December 19th.
PEI has despatched 1,446 invitations during 2018. Among these, the share of Labor Impact and EE aspirants was 1,240, and share of the Business Impact candidates was 206. Its largest draw was held on Oct 18, 2018, and invited 297 candidates.

PEI Express Entry Stream
The Express Entry category in PEI operates after considering candidates presently existing in the federal EE Pool seeking the provincial nomination. Also, this nomination 600 points are added in the CRS score. This is a guarantee to obtain the Invitation to Apply in Canadian immigration. PEI Labor Impact Category
1) Skilled Worker Stream

• An employment offer (full-time) from a PEI business in an occupation under the classification of skill level 0/A or B of the NOC;
• A post-secondary education, and a minimum of 14 years of formal education;

2) Critical Worker Stream
This stream addresses and removes the labor shortage and also caters to foreign workers who are already in PEI having employment in a top demand occupation. The criteria for nomination are:
• An employment offer (full-time) from a PEI business in these occupations:
• Truck driver; Customer service representative; Laborer; Food & beverage server; and finally Housekeeping attendant
• Work experience of six 6 months with the local business offering the job;
• Currently valid work-permit in Canada;
• High school diploma accompanied by twelve years of education;
• Age Between 21 -55 years;
• Two years of full-time work experience in the last 5 years;
• Proficiency in English /French;
• Settlement funds;
• An intention for settling in PEI
PEI Business Impact Category
Work Permit Stream
Persons who apply in the PEI Work Permit Stream should obtain the work permit and also continue to work for a PEI business covering a fixed time as mandated in the Performance Agreement. Subsequent to fulfilling it, the applicant has to invest $150,000 in the venture and also manage it on a day to day basis within PE Island.
