New Zealand Education (ENZ), the leading agency of government for foreign education has conducted its first road show in Pune, India, stressing on what the institutions of New Zealand has to offer to the students from India.
Apart from being the most popular education destination with its universities are in the list of top 3% of universities across the world. New Zealand is also a secure and welcoming nation which is a key consideration for the students who are looking to study overseas.
The universities of New Zealand were with the student counselors and principles of well-known schools in Pune, giving them information about the management and engineering courses available at their universities.
According to Jugnu Roy, Country Manager, Education New Zealand, there is increasing interest from the students about study in New Zealand.
According to Nathanael Mackey, Area Manager, New Zealand Immigration Department, there are many high quality students here and that he is eager to see that the number of students choosing to study in New Zealand increases.
He also said that New Zealand Immigration has currently started a latest Pathway Student Visa that permits for much more flawless experience of study. Students could take up three consecutive study programs with the selected study providers on a single visa valid for five years.
India is the second biggest source of foreign students to New Zealand with around 20,227 students registered at the institutions of New Zealand during the year 2014. The story of its growth has been continuing as last year it saw around 20% increase in the entire student visas.
