An educational expo that represents around 13 most preferable US universities is going to be held in Chennai on 12th of February this year. This US education expo would reach out to the students who want to study in the US.
Officials from the 13 US universities would take part at the expo that is going to held at Part Hyatt Hotel from 5:30 pm to 9pm. Students could get complete information on the postgraduate and undergraduate programs at the universities of the US.
Officials from California State University - San Marcos, Stephen F Austin State University Eastern Kentucky University, San Diego State University, Transylvania University, California State University- East Bay, Fisher College, Boston Architectural College, University of Wisconsin, Oregon State University, Penn State University and Illinois State University and others would take part in the expo.
The US Consul would start the event with a seminar for highlighting the process of visa for the students who are planning to go to the US. The expo’s main highlight is its scholarships that are offered on the basis of merit. These scholarships are provided to both the graduate and undergraduate students all over 13 universities.
This scholarship that is offered on the basis of merit could range from 10,000 dollars to complete tuition fee of the program.
The event is supported by the Commerce Department at the consulate of the US in Chennai.
