requirements which is a major channel for immigrant workers to get permanent residency. Which allows the nominated applicants, who qualified under the criteria designed by provincial government make a way for permanent residency which is moderated and processed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) depending upon the applicant, country of origin, and others.
Applicants will be processed through express entry program, where the applicants successful nomination depends upon various factors such as job offer, language proficiency, work experience, education, etc.
Alaistar MacFadden, Assistant deputy Minister For Labour Market Development said, applicants based on above factors will be awarded with points, if the applicant have provincial nomination he/she will get more points. The applicant who scored highest points are invited to apply and subsequently immigrate.
Applicants through federal express entry system are required to choose federal skilled trades, federal skilled program and Canadian experience class. However, this new SINP express entry will go through province nominee category, as he being nominated by the province.
The immigrants with high level skills, language abilities and a good work experience with job offer allows some points. With a province nomination the applicant may get additional 600 points, that makes applicant with a high chance to get invitation under express entry program.
MacFadden says, “we have created SINP a subcategory in partnership with CIC to make sure candidate exercise every option in order to come to province”. So that, SINP will act as a bridge to nomination and express entry.
