Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada held its 127th Express Entry draw
on October 2nd, and invited 3900 candidates to seek permanent residence in the country. ITAs were issued to candidates who had the Comprehensive Ranking System score of 464 marking the increase of issuing 300 ITAs in comparison to the 126th Express Entry Draw
of Sep 18th.
An Impressive Tally in Canada Immigration
The previous time when IRCC issued 3900 Express Entry ITAs was in the January 23rd, 2019 draw. It also adopted the Tie-break mechanism at the time and date stamp of Sep 20, 2019, at 15:05:04 UTC. The candidates having the CRS score of 464, and submitting an Express Entry profile prior to the specific date and time, got the invitations. Calculating the invitations in this draw, IRCC has totally issued 67300 ITAs in this year. In order to achieve the goal of surpassing the yearly ITA record to issue 89800 invitations, IRCC may maintain a large draw size, for the final quarter of the year.
As per the Immigration Levels Plan in Canada, for next three years, it will welcome 256,000 aspirants by using the three federal immigration programs:
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Worker Class
- Federal Skilled Trades Class under the Express Entry
The target for provincial nominee programs is admitting 200,000 immigrants in the next three years, as per that Plan.
There were fluctuations in the Express Entry Minimum CRS requirements and sizes for the draws held in this year. In January there were three draws that issued 11150 ITAs. The tally in February was 3350 followed by 6700 in March. In April the authorities issued 6700 followed by in 7200 in May. The tally in June was 6700 followed by 10550 in July. The tally in August was 7200, and for September it was again 7200.
