Good Progress in Alberta

Alberta is a province that has the nominee program allowing it to select fixed number of immigration candidates seeking the permanent residence every year. Additionally the provincial nominee programs have a stream which allows nomination of candidates belonging to the Express Entry after they match with the unique economic needs.

The EE candidates having the provincial nomination get extra 600 points in the CRS score and are sure to get the invitation to seek Canadian PR in later Express Entry draws. Furthermore, these invited candidates by Alberta in the first draw had a CRS score of just 300 and in the second draw of October 30 there were 29 candidates having the 350 CRS score.

Additionally, the CRS score of 350 is not high for receiving the invitation seeking permanent residence in a regular and all-program draw of Express Entry.

The Features of Nomination

With the addition of 600 points after obtaining the provincial nomination the scores are beyond the highest CRS score in the year standing at 475. This itself assures an invitation to seek permanent residence.

The norm to get consideration for provincial nominations in Express Entry Stream, of the province the candidates need to earn eligibility in a program managed by  Express Entry besides having valid Express Entry profile .
