Australia immigration department has announced overhaul of the popular visas with few changes that came into effect from yesterday and more important changes expected to come from 1st July 2016.

Australian Immigration Department has informed an inquiry of Productivity Commission related to migration that it has been working on the important changes of two of its visas that are predicted to enhance the competitiveness of Australia and its ability to lure rising skilled migrants.

The modification would outcome in the latest simplified system that deregulates the visa needs, enhances the visa application process and minimizes the overlapping routes.

According to Peter Dutton, Immigration Minister,  The Australian government understand that present temporary activity  and skilled migration visa programs are difficult to navigate. And that the government is committed for smarter rule in this field. Enhancing the integrity in visa programs of Australia and raising the contribution of skilled immigration to the productivity and economy  of Australia.

Changes to its 457 skilled worker visa came into effect from yesterday ie 19th April and changes to the Australian student visa would come into effect from 1st July 2016.
