IRCC conducted its 131st Express Entry draw, and has issued Invitations to Apply for 3,600 candidates on November 27th.

Features of the Draw

Here the minimum score in the Comprehensive Ranking System stood at 471, which is lesser by one point in comparison to the 
previous draw. With this, the IRCC has now a total of Invitations of 78,900 during 2019, and the admission of immigrants has a target of 81,400. In 2018 IRCC created a record in annual ITAs for Express Entry at 89,800.

There was a tie-breaking rule in the draw as on November 11, 2019, with the time of 1.29 am EST. here there is a preference to 
candidates who submit the Express Entry profile prior to the date and time.

This also was the 24th invitations round in Express Entry for the year.

Facts of Express Entry

The immigration system Express Entry began on January 1, 2015, by IRCC for managing applications of the skilled workers in Federal programs. These are:

• Federal Skilled Worker Program,

• Canada Experience Class

• Federal Skilled Trades Program

• Parts of the Provincial Nomination Programs

There is an expectation to hold 30 draws and issue in excess of 80,000 invitations for 2019, and many of the draws feature CRS score that is below 460 so that the immigration authorities can meet the annual immigration target.

Note for Candidates

For many of the applicants the CRS score required is below 460 points, and significantly they can receive permanent admission in Canada without having a job offer or provincial nomination.
