Canada offers visa-free travel to Mexicans

Prioritizing to strengthen the relationship with Mexico, Canada Federal Government announced new visa rules that will deepen its ties with Canada. 

Canada offers visa-free travel to Mexicans

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced visa-free travel to Mexicans, which will increase exchange of business, ideas and travelers to both the countries. 

The new policy will be applicable to Mexicans from December 1, 2016. This collaboration will help both the countries encourage travel, tourism, and promote mutual interests.  

Canadian officials are seriously working on plan to implement the visa lift policy with Canada Government. 

Until the new system is implemented Mexicans can apply for online facility as usual, for study, visit and skilled visa categories. 

Visitors to Canada are allowed for six months and it is authoritys highest priority, sometimes officials may grant less than half. 

Mexicans willing to study and work in Canada must apply for the permit, but once after lifting the visa, they must have Electronic Travel Authorization to enter Mexico. 

All the visa exempt countries except the United States must travel to Canada with ETA.
