Court blocks President Obama’s plan to protect undocumented migrants

Another media report said that Court again blocks the plan of Obama for protecting the undocumented migrants.

On Monday, Obama’s executive action for shielding millions of undocumented migrants from deportation suffered a legal setback with appealing to Supreme Court is the only option now left for the administration.

President Obama and the DHS had issued deportation waivers and documents of work authorization to around 1.2 million young illegal immigrants and around 4.3 million parents of illegal immigrants.

Obama administration and the DHS allowed any migrant legal or illegal in the nation to work unless the Congress openly prohibits it.

The Obama administration first intruded upon the authority of the Congress over the immigration issue with so called DACA program which allows illegal immigrant children to stay in the US.

After the lower court judge issued the initial injuction this year, Obama administration violated it and issued around 2,000 more job permits to the people staying here illegally. And now the 5th circuit ruling has put a full stop on the judge’s order for stopping the unlawful amnesty.

The H-1B visa program has never been authorized by the Congress,  as this visa allows overseas students to work with less monitoring , no social security payroll taxes, no wage protection  and no need for the employers to show the labour market shortages.

Furthermore, Obama started allowing spouses of H-1B workers to work in the US. Under the constitution, the Congress is supposed to have control on the immigration.
