Denmark has reclaimed its position as the world's happiest nation

Denmark has reclaimed its position as the world’s happiest nation. This was mentioned as per the reports from fourth World Happiness that was revealed.

Denmark has reclaimed its place as the world’s happiest country

Denmark tops the list in the initial report in the year 2012 and 2013. But last year it was replaced by Switzerland but Denmark was back at the first position. The other nations to follow are Iceland, Finland, Norway, Netherlands, Canada, Australia and Sweden.

The US has been placed at 18th spot. While the nations with the high population like China is ranked at 83rd position and India at 118th position. 

The ranking of happiness was based on the responses from the people to the international poll.  The happiness has been ranked based on the points like gross domestic product per capita, healthy years of life expectancy, social support, trust, identify freedom for making life choices and generosity. Equality, quality lifestyle and job opportunities have placed Denmark as the happiest country in the world.

The report was organized by a foreign panel that includes psychologists, economists and public health experts called together by the US Secretary General.
