The Australian immigration Department (DIBP) has released its new Skilled Occupations List (SOL) for this year.
This let would come into effect from 1st July this year. The list of skilled occupations would be used for 489 skilled regional provisional visa, 189 skilled independent visa and 485 graduate temporary visa applications.
The immigration department of Australia has also revealed its list of Consolidated Occupations that are being sponsored, which would be used for skilled nominated visa 190, employer nominated scheme 186 and temporary work skilled visa 457 visa applications.
Many professional and business companies, industry and employee representatives had earlier send almost 115 submissions to the immigration department and after reviewing it the immigration department has made this list of skilled occupations which are high in demand in Australia.
Few occupations to be mentioned are as follows: software engineer, programmer, accountants, project managers, engineers, teachers, nurses, physicians, psychiatrist, veterinarians, social workers and general practitioners etc.
