The EB-5 immigrant investor visa program has been extended, approved by the US Congress and was signed by the President of America. It will be continued without any changes till 30th September 2016.
This EB-5 regional center program is given an extension without any modifications in it. No changes has been made to its related issues like raising the overseas immigrant’s minimum investment to $80,000, charging a least yearly fee on every regional center, raising the regulatory filings, inspections, certifications and reports.
There are no modifications in the regulation. Business would continue as usual. The number of EB-5 visas stays at 10,000 each year. Few industry experts forecast that the visas can be utilized by May 2016 if this drift continues. There is an important pent up demand for the EB-5 projects and capital. It could be expected that the EB-5 lenders pipelines would be filled very quickly and the best would get success beyond all the others. The 10,000 visa maximum each year might be reached in the month of May or June.
It is recommended that the developers should proceed with all the due speed in getting their EB-5 financing as the lenders and overseas investors now rush to fill this pipeline again. It would be desirable to be in front of the line.
