Candidates who have received a nomination or valid job offer from the Provincial Nominee program (PNP) will be instantly welcomed to apply for PR or permanent residency and it is the important difference between the “Express Entry” and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, that is actually used to fill temporary labor shortages.

“Express Entry” is earlier known as “Expression of Interest”. This Express Entry will facilitate government in selecting the best candidates who will succeed in Canada, instead of giving importance to candidates first in line. This will also eliminate backlogs and help Citizenship and Immigration Canada to better manage large volumes of applications to meet the yearly immigration plans.
