Number of tourists visiting Hong Kong has been increased with around 2,54,000 visitors in the country with an increase of 9%.
According to the Immigration Department, the current golden week holiday has witnessed strong development in the number of tourists visiting the city. As the number of travelers has increased to over 14.1% on the initial day.
As per the official figures from the government, over 2,00,000 visitors had arrived in Hong Kong on the initial day of national holiday, which is an increase from around 1,77,000 travelers visited previous year.
Most of the travelers are here in Hong Kong to either visit their relatives or for sightseeing and for doing shopping.
Many expect that this shift in tourism sector will bring economic benefits to entire districts of Hong Kong.
