Employees of the fastest growing company who makes supply chain software were lucky to get the visa in this year’s H-1B lottery. Four of its overseas employees applied for the visas, and according to information received, it shows that three of them got the visas which came into effect from the 1st of October.
H-1B visas allow the companies to employ international workers in the occupation that requires expertise in technical or theoretical, in many fields like mathematics, engineering, medicine and science.
The visas are granted for four years with an added bonus for those who are holding them can then apply for the green cards and PR in the US.
The success rate of H-1B visas for this year nationwide was about one in every three is granted this visa.
A total of 2,33,000 people had applied for this visa till the end of April month for a total of 85,000 visas, which has increased when compared to the 1,72,500 applications for the visas in the previous year and around 1,24,000 in the year 2013.
