Manitoba Government has issued 469 invitations to apply in the latest draw for permanent residence to the Skilled Workers under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program and skilled overseas workers on November 8, 2018.
For a provincial nomination, 300 LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) were issued to EOI (Expression of Interest) applicants in the skilled professional workers under
Manitoba Stream.
These candidates scored a minimum of 607 points out of 1000 on the MPNP's points-based assessment. The test was based on factors like previous work experience, ties to the province, and completed education.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Invitations
Under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programs Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, remaining 169 candidates have invited at minimum scores of 610 for the candidates with connections to the province and 705 for the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Connections to the province can be determined by having a past work experience or education in Manitoba, having minimum language proficiency i.e CLB 5 or 6 based on the type of job, or recent work experience in a Manitoba In-Demand occupation.
A total of 69 individuals were invited under the Skilled Worker Overseas and the candidates were interviewed by MPNP representatives at the overseas recruitment scheme.
Candidates those who wish to migrate via MPNP's Skilled Worker courses should create an Expression of Interest profile. Then enter into the Expression of Interest pool those who are eligible. All Letters of Advice to Apply candidates have 2 months time to submit the application form for a provincial nomination for permanent residence through the MPNP online account.
The Candidates should submit the application to IRCC for Canadian permanent residence if they receive a provincial nomination from Manitoba Government.
