Modi’s visit to the UK will help boost the arrival of Indian to the UK

According to the High Commissioner, many more travelers from India would be inspired to choose the UK for their next holiday after the Indian PM’s visit. The Indian travelers not only gained from our economy but had also spent around 44 million pounds in the UK, which helps the wider ties between both the nations.

He also said that the UK had granted more than 40,000 visas each year in India. We got more centres for visa application in India than any other nation. The goal of the services of the visa is to provide excellent visa services to every citizen of India, who seeks to visit the UK.

Over 90% of the applications for the visa are successful. The average time limit to get the visa processed takes around six working days, and if the individual wants to acquire the premium facilities, then it is even faster. We grant over 3,50,000 visitor visas for the year end June 2015  that reflects an increase of more than 50%.

We had granted 60,000 working visas previous year, and that is 10% extra. The previous year, we had granted around 12,000 student visas. We had granted additional student visas than any other nation ex except the US and China.

The latest centre would bring a number of advantages to its customers. The latest VAC is located at same premises as of Schengen VAC, permitting the individuals to plan a business trip or a European Holiday the convenience of applying for both the visas at the same time. The individuals could simply apply for their visa, also purchase the pass back service of the passport to keep their passports while their application for the UK is being processed, and then go towards the Schengen VAC to apply for their Schengen visa.

According to Gerry Kelly, Ireland Embassy, the latest visa centre would present an enhanced experience for citizens from India, who seeks to travel to Ireland. We had witnessed a big increase in the number of Indian citizens traveling to Ireland and that the latest facility would assist the Embassy in offering an elevated quality service to our visa applicants. The start of the British Irish Visa Scheme has made it further convenient and better value for the travelers from India to travel the UK and Ireland as they now need only a visa to visit both the nations.
