The Immigration Ministry of the Government in Quebec extended the deadline for submitting 1900 new applications in its new Immigrant Investor Program to August 31, 2019.
Quebec had commenced the Immigrant Investor Immigration Program on July 18th, 2018. Additionally, it has the features of enhanced investment and net worth requirements in nine years.
This program now requires the requirement of investing $1.2 million, that was $800,000 earlier. The net worth amount to qualify increased to $2 million, from $1.6 million.
Requirements of the QIIP
• A personal net worth of $2 million which must be acquired Legally
• Two years management/business experience in the 5 years prior to the application;
• Investment of $1.2 million in the passive government guaranteed investment for five years which will not carry any interest;
• Intention to settle in Quebec province.
Details of the Program
The Quebec Investor program started in 1986 and is a large and popular Business/Investment Program in Canada. The present program was accepting 1900 new applications in the period beginning from Sep 10, 2018. Furthermore, 9 the present extension will run until August 31, 2019.
