New visa rules announced by China and UK

The United Kingdom and China have both relaxed visa rules as they work towards making more business.

Chinese work visas are usually limited to short-term placements and are related to a specific employer, and the long –term residency Green cards are granted rarely. Besides, work permit needs renewal on annual basis. 

Now the Chinese government has eased the visa rules for foreign nationals and found that the potential foreign nationals in the country can contribute to the economy in the form of tax if they reside in the country for a longer duration.

UK has even announced changes in visa rules for Chinese businesspeople and visitors for building strong ties between the nations. Accordingly, Chinese tourists can travel to both Britain and Ireland on a single visa and independent travelers can use online application form which is simplified.

UK’s launch of priority visa service and the commencement of 12 visa application centers over China have resulted in a rise of 40 % in the number of visas granted to visitors of China in the interval 2012 and 2013.
