With 88% visa success rate, UK universities continues to attract Indian students

According to Andrew McAllister, British High Commissioner in Hyderabad, Britain had brought in many changes for checking the visa exploitation and feels that it has reflected in the increased success rate of visa. He informed that according to a survey, there is a lot of demand for many students with the UK degrees and the income packages are also higher than the other degrees of the world.

Mr. McAllister was speaking to the media after he announced many scholarships that are being offered by the universities of the UK which are worth 40 crore. According to him, the services of the visa have been enhanced, providing additional guidance and starting additional visa application centres.

According to South India British Council, Director, Mei Kwei Barker, more than 4,90,000 overseas students from around 200 nations are studying in the universities of the UK, they provide students with an excellent foreign experience. Out of these around 21,000 are from India. She also informed that there are around 291 scholarships available this year with the value of 15 crore for different subjects areas that ranges from law, engineering, IT, art and design etc around 45 institutions in the UK, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland,

She also added that the British Council would be hosting the Education UK Exhibition on 9th February 2016. Students and parents would get an excellent chance to directly chat with the officials from 30 universities of the UK, and they could also get their replies on their queries regarding courses, visa, scholarships and applications.
