It issues the Invitations based on the CRS score of a candidate on the factors like education, work experience, age, and language proficiency. IRCC issues invitations to top ranking candidates for applicants seeking the permanent residence. Additionally, there are regular draws generally taking place every two weeks.

Other information

In this draw, the minimum CRS score was 457. There was an increase of 19 points in comparison to the 110th Express Entry draw held on Jan 30. The reason of increase in this draw is a period of three weeks since the draw of Jan 30. Moreover, when the time between two draws is more, the EE pool can replenish, by having some high scoring candidates. Furthermore, this results in the increase of the cut-off score. Additionally, the IRCC used the tie-break rule in the draw. The time was Dec 6, 2018, at 12:38:11 UTC. Hence all candidates having the CRS score of and above 457, who had their profile in the pool before the deadline received the ITA. Furthermore, the EE candidates can improve their CRS score by obtaining a PNP nomination.

Conclusion

Such candidates who possess the provincial nomination for a PR receive 600 additional points in their CRS score. This also serves as an effective guarantee to get the invitation seeking the permanent residence. Some Provinces issued ITAs for EE candidates seeking the provincial nomination during this three-week gap. The successful candidates obtaining the ITA in this draw had advanced English language proficiency and good work experience of two to three years. Those having a sibling or taking the CELPIP exam with good scores were also successful. The higher admission targets for 2019 in the Express Entry system provide a good chance to hold big draws at frequent intervals.
