The Immigration and Citizenship Department of Canada (CIC) has conducted the 27th draw for Express Entry on 10th February 2016. Around 1505 invitations were sent with the cutoff score of 459 points to those skilled candidates who had submitted their applications under the pool of
Express Entry to settle down in Canada.
Invitations have been sent to the skilled aspirants from various countries, based on their skills, experience in work and education. The number of invitations sent has been increased to 1505 from 1468 invitations which were sent in the
26th Express Entry draw held on 27th January 2016. There is slight increase of two points in the cutoff score of current draw when compared to the last draw held.
The applicants are being awarded the ranks based on the system of points known as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Points are being calculated based on the candidate’s profile and the entire information provided in their profile. The candidates who score highest points are sent invitations so that they can apply for the permanent residency of Canada.
