On August 7, 2015, Canada Minister of citizenship and immigration has announced the invitations under
express entry system in its 14th draw for the applicants in pursuant to the permanent residence in Canada.
Express entry 14th draw issued 1,402 applicants based on the assigned score of a total 471 score or more through the comprehensive ranking system, which is designed to award points to the applicant based on their information and profile.
Citizenship and Immigration of Canada introduced express entry system on January 2015 to invite the applications for permanent residence in Canada. Since the introduction of this new system, CIC regularly conduct draws to invite the successful applicants who score highest among the pool of applicants based on the comprehensive ranking system.
The previous
express entry 13th draw was happened on 17th July 2015 invited 1581 applicants based on the cutoff score of 451 points or more. However, in express entry 14th draw the number of invitations have decreased to 1,402 with cutoff score assigned has increased to 471 or more.
Express entry draw takes place about two times in every month for the given pool of applicants. It is conducted by the minster of citizenship and immigration under the section provided by immigration and refugee protection act.
