India opens three new centers to facilitate visa processing in Malaysia
India has opened three new centers to outsource visa services in Malaysia where it is mandatory to provide the biometric information for the applicants who seek Indian visas.
The India’s High Commission stated that, the three new visa outsource centers in Melaka, Ipoh and Seremban will add to the existing three centers that are in operational at Johor Baharu, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
It also stated that, the visa seekers can now use the services from any of the six cities either for submitting visa application or for collecting visas without going all the way to Kuala Lumpur for submitting visa applications or for providing biometric data.
The initiative is expected to ensure the provision of convenient services to Malaysian nationals moving to India. The Indian government is also making efforts to open more centers.
