The USCIS has increased the visa fee for H-1B & L1 visas

According to the new immigration policies of United States of America, Indian software companies have to pay $4,000 supplementary amounts for each H-1B visa application. On 27th may 2016 the detail information has been published by the federal agency of America. For the L-1 visa petition, the supplementary amount also increases to $ 4500. This new law will be validated till 30th September 2025.

Generally, H-1B visa is an initiative to permit the employers of US to hire the foreign skilled individuals in the specialty profession, whereas L-1 visa has been proposed for the skilled employees of a global organization or international company with branches both in America and overseas.

Indian software companies have to take an extra load of $4000 million for every year. Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi also displeased in this issue and raised his voice for the discriminatory. In the current scenario, US is one of the ideal hubs for information Technology. Lots of skilled professionals are immigrating to the US through H1-B visa and L-1 visa but this immigration reformation of US government is completely unfair. It may create an impact on the bilateral relationships.

The USICS (US federal citizenship and immigration service) has already posted regarding the hike of visa application on its website. For H-1B petition, the additional amount will be $4000 and for the L-1 petition, the amount will be $4500.
