Canada Conducts 20th Express Entry Draw

The wait is finally over for the applicants who had lodged their application under the pool of Express Entry for the permanent residency and who were desperately waiting for latest selection ranking. In its follow up to 19th draw of the Express Entry, Immigration and Citizenship Department of Canada (CIC) has conducted 20th draw of the Express Entry on 13th November, 2015.

Total 1,506 invitations have been issued in this 20th draw to the candidates with the minimum cutoff score of 484.

As of new update from this 20th draw, eligibility criteria for applying to get the PR of Canada will be 484 or much more under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) according to Ministerial instructions respecting the Express Entry System.

The next draw would also follow the same procedure of granting the invitations to the individuals who good qualification, work experience and excellent communication skills and many other aspects.

In the last 19th draw for 19th Express Entry System, which was announced on 23rd October 2015, around 1502 invitations were announced and the cutoff score was 489 points.

In this 20th draw of Express Entry System, total number of invitations has increased to just four and this time the cutoff score is also five points less.

The Canadian Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) had started this Express Entry System this year for inviting applications from those applicants who seek to apply for the PR in Canada.

The Express Entry usually takes place twice in a month for the applicants, the shortlisted candidates in this Express Entry draw can apply for Canadian PR.
